If i have 2.5 inch exhaust and want to add an h-pipe, do I get the 2.5 inch kit? And does it matter where I put it- closer to the headers or closer to the mufflers or in between? thanks

Its been awhile since I fooled with the "H" pipe. I think as close to the headers as possible was the goal. If you have 2.5" exhause and a 2.5" kit you'll just need to make sure the outside diamater pipe fits snugly over your 2.5" straight pipe, or buy a double 2.5" outside diamater pipe or other such fun.

I just went and checked my car, and although it's a X, it's about 18/24" from the Headers.

The way I have heard to locate the cross-over tube is to spray paint on your exhaust pipes from your headers back about 24-30". Where it burns off is the spot to put the H-pipe. Charlie
