Hi,

Its kind of hard to explain so i will just say it...What is the small galley for right below the intake opening. It is right in the middle of the intake and runs from each side. It looks like a water jacket but im not sure? maybe smog? The intake is a aluminum Edelbrock Torquer II.

wes im a little (thats an understatement) confused. are you talking about maybe a water crossover that your heads dont have the opening for??

possibly. I dont have the heads off so I dont know. It definatly looks like a crossover of somekind.

Sure it is not exhaust crossover to warm base of carburetor.

Right, that's the exhaust crossover that uses exhaust gases to speed up warming of the carb for cold weather running.

Do you know Randy & Lorie Hogan, with the Pink 40 Cpe & Red 40 Sedan.. I'm pretty sure they live in Oakley..
