Hello all,

Do I need a one way vacuum valve on the vacuum line from the engine to the vacuum canister for the heating system?

Oh, its a 68 289, had A/C but I'm leaving that out, going to get the heaterdoors etc working by hooking back up the vacuum system.

The factory vac can looks like a half a coffee can with a fitting on one end. That fitting is a one-way valve so you can store up the vacuum.
Without it you might as well hook up the heater vac hose directly to the intake manifold.
