I was thinking of getting some march high waterflow pulleys. What I was wondering I don"t have powersteering or A.C. but I was going to add both in the future. How many grooves do I need on the crank and waterpump pulleys to be able to add these. I have a 1970 mach 351c.

You would probably be wiser to get the kit for P/S and A/C and space out your alternator until you install those accessories, that way you only have to buy one kit.

I believe the A/C cars get a three pulley sheave on the lower pulley.

I'm not too sure on clevelands, but on my 70 351w i only have one groove for my waterpump and i have PS and A/C. Single groove alt, single groove water pump, and three groove crank. The alternator pulley has it's belt going straight to the crank pulley in 70 and later. Earlier years had an additional groove on the water pump pulley and had the belt from the alternator pulley go around the extra groove in the water pump pulley before going to the crank pulley. Also, the PS is a single groove and the belt goes from the PS to the water pump pulley and then to the crank. The A/C compressor has two separate idler pulleys and uses the 3rd groove in the crank pulley. I'd call March and see what they say.
