I have an exterior lamp warning buzzer #C6RA-13150-A. How do I install it? The instruction says to bolt a wire to the nut protruding from the ign switch, but the instruction is I think for universal fords and I don't see it on a mustang. Which nut do I bolt it to? Thanks.

I don't understand the title of the thread, is it a headlight warning thing, or am I missing something here??? The only "exterior" lights I can think of, are the head/tail/park/signal. Sorry.

The easiest way to find something lost, is to buy a replacement.

It's one those accessories Ford sold that would sound a buzzer when your lights are on and the ignition is off.

Is this compatible with a mustang? Anyone who have used it? How do you install it? Thanks.

Dont the early cars have a centre brass stud running out the back of the ignition switch.Your plug goes over the stud and then you put a nut on it.I believe that stud is 12V live.

How many wires on this kit..

There are 2 wires on this kit, one for the headlamp switch and one for the ign switch. The instruction says there is a stud where you bolt one of the wires. I can't seem to find it. Do you have to unplug the wire to find the stud?

Haven't played with ignition switches for a while but I dont believe 68's have the stud on the switch like 67's.

The post might actually be a ground. What wire do they want you to tap into on the headlight switch..

It is optional, you can tap it on a wire for headlamp-on only and one for both park lamp and headlamp-on. Do you think the post on the ign is for the ground only that it should get a ground from the ign switch when on or off? I'm suspecting the same thing. Can I use the screw that holds the bracket of the ign switch to the underdash?
