Anybody using the Russel Street Legal Brake lines? If you have a 67-70, what did you do about the rear line?------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC Bla-Bla-Bla 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55

I have them on my 65. Very Nice product. It might just be me but the pedal feels stiffer. Mine was a 3 piece set from Summit, so I dont know about the 67 to 70. Is the rear line different?------------------ 65 fastback. 302, Paxton Supercharger 7PSI, Edelbrock heads and intake, comp cam, Motorsport rockers, flowtechs with cutouts, x pipe and 2.5in flowmasters. Being wrapped up is supposed to keep the rubber from expanding so I guess you would get a stiffer pedal.

For your 67-70 you'll need brass brake fitting adapters for the larger fitting size on your hard line to the block on the rear hose that is the smaller 65-66 size.------------------ Scott Halseth National Parts Depot 65 Convt 66 Coupe 03 Coupe

Scott, Is the hose or tubing a different inside diameter or are the fittings just different sizes?

So the hard brake line is smaller in diameter on a 65-66 than on a 67-70?

No, they are all 3/16 hard lines. Just the fitting at the end of the flex line is larger on the 67 calipers.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." If Russell sells a set of front and back brake lines for a 67 Mercury Cougar with drums (693060) how come they don’t sell a complete set of brake lines for a 68 Mustang with disc front brakes and rear drums? They would have the same flexible line that is used for the rear brakes. How did you guys get a rear brake line for your car if they are only sold in sets?
