I don't know anything about installing 'traction master' traction bars.

But I do know that when you install the Maier subframe connectors that you will want your cars suspension loaded & the car resting level on it's tires when you weld them up. Not on jack stands, not just the back end on ramps, you want the car setting on its tires, LEVEL. Of course that also means that you want the engine and trans to be in the car, otherwise your cars suspension will not normally loaded.

Good Luck!
Ryan

(Edit) P.S. Before you do ANY welding, you will also want to ensure you've got your battery cables disconnected, any ignition control box unplugged and I'd unplug the wires to your distributor for good measure....... When you weld on a car, bad things can happen to electronic devices that are wired to it.

Tires must be on the ground when welding the front brackets for the traction master style bars.

I'm getting ready to put Traction Master bars on my 65FB too. I looked at the Maier sub frame connectors & they looked like they might interfere with the front traction bar brackets.
Please let me know if you have any problems with it when you install them. I had thought about making my own sub frame connectors out of heavy wall steel pipe in my blacksmith shop but if Maier's work, I'll go that route.
Thanks.

I haven't fitted Maier subframe connectors, but I would making double and triple sure to test fit. Then, tack weld them in to final test fit before welding solid. Expect to grind a little, too.

I just looked at some Maier subframes in one of my magazines--they are beautiful! Good luck with the install.

As soon as I get my custom brackets from Traction Master I plan on installing my traction bars (should be within a few weeks). Then I'll figure out how & where to weld in sub frame connectors. Maier does have the nicest looking ones I've seen, as long as they'll fit with the traction bars.
