Has anybody thought of or installed a grease fitting on their Z-bar? I was just thinking of it and I can find pros but no cones. What do you think?

Ed, Sure, I installed one on mine. A simple drill & tap job. Obviously you'll want to ensure that the zert is located on the tube where you can get to it with your grease gun once it's mounted in the car... Don't over grease it either. The OE felts don't take much pressure to allow grease to push around them making a mess. Good Luck! Ryan
