Is the speedometer end of the cable the same for 65-68 Mustangs? Does the Nut part have the same threads and depth?

And now to hijack this post: is there a slightly longer cable available? Would a Fairlane or Galaxy cable be longer?

I have installed a T5 in my '66 Mustang and had to pull all the slack out of the dash to get it to fit into the T5. A cable about 4-5" longer would be great.

Fairlane cable should do the trick.

I just have too many things to do. Hopefully I can get the welding done that’s I need and I can get the cope back together.
