Despite the cost it is worth every penny, I am so impressed with how the engine responds and performs. The EFI, camshaft replacement, and higher stall converter have made it into a different car. Here are links to some photos of the completed install. Let me know what you think.

That looks good. Are those the chrome finish motorsports. If so I should have got those also. Those are easier to clean than the polished ones.

Thanks, they are the chrome finish covers, it's nice just to be able to wipe them off rather than polish them.

As for comparison number, sorry no I don't. I haven't ever taken the car to the track and I had a tough time trying to get the correct gear for the speedometer. I have also installed a Gear Vendor overdrive as part of this project and now the speedomemter should be very accurate. The only thing I have left to do is purchase some tires for the Vintage Wheel series 50 wheels I have sitting in the garage. I hope to be able to fit 245/50 x 16 in the rear and 225/50 x 16 up front. I have the G/West upper and lower control arms in, so I should be OK with this combo.

Fastback: your GV unit, did you get the manual shift unit? Meaning when you shift from ,say, 2nd. over to third do you have to hit the button to get 3rd(not 3rd over)or did you spring for the new electronic package that does that between gear shift for you?
I;m asking because i went for the new electronics as it sounded very complicated to get back into each low range on the 1,2,3 shift, if you know what i mean.
i;m wondering if it was worth the extra $$$, pick up my car on Tuesday!
so, either way i;d like to know how you like the GV unit.

I don't think you have any choice, as I understand it when you are in overdrive, you stay in overdrive until you shut it off. So, in 2nd gear, you engage the OD, the trans shifts to 3rd, you will be in 3rd OD unless you shut the OD off as it shifts. I think the splitting of each gear is useful for a vehicle with a wide ratio, think RV, not for a vehicle that quickly moves thru the gears.

I wanted the OD for highway use, my 3.55 rear will act like a 2.77 when I turn on the GV unit.

Damn it I should have gotten the chrome ones.

I was interested in a GV but how would it work with a manual valve body?

Don't know, my valve body is not manual, call them, I did when I had questions and they were very helpful.
