What Transmission mount do I use for a T-5 swap in a 67 coupe? I am going to make my own crossmember and I don't know if there is a coustom made mount or if I can go to the local parts store and buy a stock mount.

Custom mount, available from several sources such as Modern Driveline and several of the Mustang parts vendors. Several have fabricated their own, requires welding skills.

John, I think he's talking about the rubber or poly mount, not the crossmember. Doogie, what are you swapping from? Auto or stick?
In my 66, I used the stock mount attached to a Ron Morris crossmember. If you make your crossmember, you should be able to fabricate your crossmember to do this as well. I started with a 4 speed, not an automatic, though. I think the autos used a different bolt configuration for mounting the transmission to the mount, although the mount-to-crossmember is the same, I believe.

Yes I am talking about the insulating/rubber mount. I am switching from an automatic to a T5.

Are you using a template to fab a crossmember or are you going to modify your C-4 crossmember? I know a buddy used 2x4s to mock up his crossmember--it was easy to work with and easy to modify--but I think you can modify your current one, too.

If patterning your crossmember after a Modern Driveline or California Pony Cars one, you can use the stock-type 4 speed insulator.
