I was out in the ol' garage staring at my "resto in progress", and I came across something that puzzled me. I was looking at the headlight wiring and noticed an extra wire. I've got the big 3-prong socket for the headlight, the 2-prong for the parking lights, and then an extra wire. It's got a female connection on the end of it. I was looking at my wiring diagram, and it doesn't show this wire. What the heck is it? I don't have any way to see if it's getting current, since the car's in "resto-mode", so I don't know if it comes on with the light switch. Could it be for the grill lights, like a GT? I know the car's not a GT, but she IS a mutt. Someone in the car's life could have replaced the wiring.

Duh. I should look at my wiring diagram a little closer. It shows the 2-prong connector coming directly from the harness and then the single jumps from the headlight to the parking/turn signal light. Nevermind. It's been a busy day.
