Hey guys, I am in the middle of replacing the front passanger side apron...

I bought a replacement from www.mustangsunlimited.com, I have everything lined up and it just won't fit!

It seems like everything is about a inch if not more short!

Does anyone know where I could buy a decent fitting apron?

I am sheet metal fabricator by trade, and this sheet metal SUCKS!

You need to go with National Parts Depot. Not only one of our sponsors, but one of the best supplies of Mustang Parts out there. More than likely, you will want to contact the Michagan store, (1-800-521-6104) Page 144 in the current catalog lists the passenger side apron, Part # 116-1RH for $23.95.

Sig Sam,
Try reading the poster screen name. LOL

Ah-ha, so that's where the key info I've been missing all these years has been hiding?

You will have to ask when you call them. I haven't had the need to replace any sheet metal.

Did you check to make sure you had the right year. I just did this replacemnet and the part I got fit ok just a bit long on the bottom. It was made by American Designers..

Have fixed a few of those aprons and only ONCE did I replace the whole thing. Perhaps your poor fitting piece will work if you just scab in the section that will eliminate the rustout. That way it is still original at top side, and on certain years, there's a hidden vin on that apron. Most of the ones I did had rot just past the bottom a bit. Have had the best luck with American Designer piece. It is the one that comes in bare metal and it's made in Canada.
