I have painted a few cars (including my own) and when the spray gun isn't adjusted correctly I wish I had a roller. If it comes out as nice as he says (pictures are hard to tell) and it lasts a few years, why not?

I remember reading that link a few weeks ago. IIRC the guy suggests adding water to the paint in order to get it thinner. I dont know for sure, but that doesnt seem like a very bright idea. Stripping a car to bare metal then adding water to it. THe paint is suppose to protect it from the elements but youre adding something that accelerates rust. Its something that popped out at me when I first read it but I really have no tech on it. Maybe someone else has some ideas about the effectiveness? Im really interested in this painting method also... David F.

That's pretty cool, if it works. But, like the one guy said, you're only out 50 bucks or so if it don't. I might give that a try for my primer, since I had some weird stuff happen on the top with the rattle can.------------------ William The easiest way to find something lost, is to buy a replacement. 68 Coupe 289 C4 3:55's/Trac-Lok

I knew an OLDE time body guy that told me before they had them modern spray guns,he'd brush paint the cars he worked on. Then sand and buff the finish.Black cars were his favorite to do,he said they looked like glass.I wouldn't do it to something I want perfect but it might be worth a shot.
