Can you uncrimp the socket from the housing? If you don't mind it not being 100% original you could get a universal light socket at a good auto parts store and fix it that way.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Also, a new housing from NPD is $19.95 for part number 13207-1A if you want just a quick R&R and avoid the hassle.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Steve, I know it seems cheap on my part. But I can't just replace the one side. I'd have to get new gaskets, and lense too thats about $60 for the package. ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs HOOD HACKERS DELIGHT! My Pics

It's never just one thing, is it? Then it looks like a replacement socket is your solution. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL [This message has been edited by SteveLaRiviere (edited 06-08-2006).]

For now at least I do want to get the clear lense instead of the amber I think they look good. So one day I'll have to get all new parts. ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs HOOD HACKERS DELIGHT! Maybe you could post a question and see if one of our M&M'ers has a spare one they would be willing to ship out?

Like Steve said, you could get a universal or even a scrap one from somewhere and remove the bottom contact plate and wires and move them over to your housing. It's just a plate with two contacts with a spring underneath it. I had to do the same thing on my old backup lights. Time consuming but not difficult.

Thanks, I was going to try and fix it first. I hate tossing any part that can be fixed and used again.
