Hi there

I've seen several people who have an aluminum driveshaft on their '66. Where are these for sale or are they all homemade?

Hey!

Thanks for the link.
Have been looking on the site but I didn't find it. Been looking in the wrong corner I think.

What can I expect from an alu shaft?
Do you feel any difference?

I have read that they are lighter and better balanced than the old 40 year old drive shafts. Add some new joints and you should have a smoother ride.

Don't know for sure though.

You can find streetortrack.com's aluminum driveshafts here. They have them custom made for you, and the site tells you how to best measure yours. While you are at the site, look around. You might find something else for your car that piques your interest.
