Has anyone used T&L Engines or the Engine Factory for a crate motor? I am starting to look for a 375-400hp 351W for my FFR. Any other recommendations? Thanks, Rick ------------------ Lonewolf 1968 Coupe in Pieces 99 1/2 F250 FFR MkIII

Crate motors seem way overpriced to me.If you already have a 351 block and some aftermarket heads pretty much any good shop should be able to build if for you.------------------ 68 J-Code,Sprint,306 4 speed,4.11s 13.69@101............... 66 coupe 289 4 speed, 3.20 cruiser http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/mustangboy.html http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/mustangboy2.html

I have an EngineFactory crate MotorMount, hook up gas, radiator, ground wire, alternator wire, exhaust, throttle linkage, gas line and start. Truely a turn key Motor. Broke in at the Factory with video. Leveled deck , honed , blue printed...the works. Yes you pay more for it...Its done...completely...show perfect. No crossing fingures and tinkering. Timing done...Carb adjust...waranty. You pay for some-one elses time (done right). ------------------ Love Your Children

Yup, that was my thread about T&L.They were great about the repairs, they paid to ship it back and forth and never charged me a dime. Got a video of it on the dyno, got a dyno sheet. Was a hook it up and start it up with no problems, totally broken in. Runs SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice, and is absolutely smoking (literally and figuratively). Would definitely deal with them again.
