I've been asking around about the shelby a arm relocation. For you guys that have done this upgrade is it worth while? Can you really feel a difference on your cornering? And lastly, on my '66, when doing the a arm relocation is it neccessary to add the wedge kit. Is there an upgrade in performance with the negative wedge kit, or is the benefit of the kit only about keeping the balljoints from binding up?------------------ '66 Vert, 289, Edelbrock 1403, 3speed, w/procars. For someone who is interested in handling, the 1" upper control arm drop is a huge improvement. You do not need the negative wedge kit to lower the upper control arm 1". The wedge kit is needed to lower the arm more than 1", the point where binding will occur. I don't recommend trying to get maximum traction anyway with stock upper arms and hence the wedge kit is a waste of resouces. There are far better improvements for less money. I have a full write-up on all of this, plus a few other tips for better handling at: http://www.geocities.com/2bav8/granada.html#shelby
