Hi, I took my rear axle (was bent) to a metal shop for straightening it out.

The long tube was bent forward and he could easily repair that but he ask me if there has to be a correction for camber and toe settings for the rear axle.

So, must the tube ends be horizontally and vertically parallel to each other?

I would have to say Yes. If nothing else, it got you back to the top, so maybe someone who does know can answer it for ya. I just hate to see something not get a response at all.

The Ford Shop manual doesn't give any but here is what my car (which our local specialist considered fine)
reads at:

Camber: -0°05'to -0°20'
Toe: +0°06 to -0°07

For whatever this is worth....
