I'm not for certain, but I am of the assumption that the two kits will be slightly different. The 351W block is 1" taller that the 289/302 block. That leaves alot of room for differences. I would play it safe and get the correct kit. You'll spend more money buying the correct bolts after the fact.

If you're talking about ARP engine accessory bolt kits, spend the extra money. They are worth every penny.

351 has 1/2 inch head bolts. 289/302 uses 7/16. That's one difference in the price. The other is that the 351 kit comes with more bolts.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Hi i could buy the bolts seperately but they would cost almost what i would pay for a 351W kit....i think the intake bolts would work (i have seen the intake bolt kit from ARP say it is for 289/302/351W) and am just wondering what other bolts from a 351W kit would work on my 289...i am in Canada and ARP bolts cost a smalll fortune up here...my local speed shop want well over $200 for a 289/302 kit and i can get the 351W kit on eBay for about $60 (US) although shipping will almost double that thanks craig
