Almost done with the front part of the wiring so just wanted to pass this along.
As you can see I'm coming up thru the door sill, into the inner fenderwell, and going directly to a mini-starter. I'll have a solenoid in the trunk.

Having it run in the wheelwell will expose the cable to some abrasion from road debris unless you shield it. When I move the battery on my Sprint I ran the cable across the shock tower, down the rear apron to along the inside of the frame rail towards rearward and that worked well.

Can't agree more.
I will be adding shielding to protect the wire.
Two reasons I didn't run it in the engine compartment:
- the rear apron area is where all the header tubes come together and I expect that area to be sizzling hot most of the time
- an attempt to clean up the wiring under the hood.

I did kinda of the same thing,I also ran the cable along side the inside of the frame. I ran the cable in some conduit for added protection too.
