I have a meter that has tach and dwell
settings. Its been a long time,so where to
I hook up the leads on the motor to use the tach and the dwell. I think I remember it goes to one side of the coil and then to ground for tach and then across the coil for dwell??
I can't remember...

Bill,

Wow...blast from the past! Had to go find the instructions to my dwell/tach meter. Connect it to the distributor side of the coil.

Red (usually) will go to the distributor or negative side of the coil and black to ground.
