This bracket has an "R" on it, which would mean passenger side to me, but for some reason, I think it is on there backwards (ie, it should be on the driver side).

Did I do it right or wrong?

That looks correct to me."R" is right.I like the black you used.It looks good in the other pics you have posted..

Do you have the firewall pc for the AC.(plate with rubber for the hoses)??

Thanks Cory. The black is Krylon 1613 over top of Rustoleum primer. I ended up putting on 2 coats, 3 in some places. The krylon went on more flat than semi in some places and had to be touched up. I can say it touches up very nicely, but apparently I am too impatient in waiting for it to cure, as I have scratched it in a couple places putting stuff back on, hence the 3 coats in spot locations.

It might take a while to cure..I havent used Krylon in years but the old stuff was laquer and Rustoleum is enamel.A touchy mix if applied to wet or in a hurry..No worries on the paint sticking tho..

Your cure time is impeded by the Rustoleum primer. Two different kinds of paint. The Krylon looks good. Your mount looks the same as my 68 sitting without engine. The letter R is there. Looking forward to seeing your PSteering hose hookup.

Pete, I disconnected the two tie rods at the spindle, steering box and idler at the frame, and pulled all the steering as a single unit. If it would help, I can take a picture of the hoses right now out of the car if what you need to see is hose routing.

Appreciate it. The PS routing on a 289/302 68 makes little sense-seems like the hose always get toasted on the manifold re the looped route it takes.
