Hey guys, Last year the bigger of the two springs broke on the drivers side door latch assembly. I am having a hell of a time finding just the spring. Any ideas on who or where I can get one?

NPD has a (SPRING, door latch) listing for the 67/68, so don't know if that will help, BUT they have complete latch's for right at 60 bucks.

Best bet would be to get a used latch from similar year car.
I bet if you ask in the classifieds section you might even get one shipped for just the cost of shipping from one of the members here.
Do you have a 65? (guessing from the screen name)
A 65 or 66 latch would work. Get the same side if you just want to bolt in the whole assembly. If you want to change just the spring you could probably use a spring from either side, just flip it over so it matches your configuration.

Thanks, Yes I have a 65, I would have thought they made just the spring that I could buy. Maybe its not a common problem?

Thanks again.

Not a common problem at all, the remote latch with the inside door handle is a lot more common to break.

Weird, One day I went to get out of the car and I heard/felt a snap and then heard the spring fall.
