I am thinking about installing a 5 or a 6 speed in my 68.

Has anyone tried this? Am I stuck trying to find a clutch pedal and linkage fronm a 68 manual car or is there a aftermarket alternative such as a hydraulic set up?

Thanks
Jim

I was going to try this in my 63, but, ended up going auto O/D.
you could try dark horse performance for Hydralic clutch set up which is your easiest way o go for an odd install.
you have to send your cluth/Brake pedal assembly to them & they convert to the cable type clutch set up.
good luck

Perogie Interprises is the company to contact. They will help you down to the bushings to complete setup with Toploader.
If you have a small block, Just use 86 -93 mustang parts.

I don;t think the clutch/brake pedals will work out of a mustang.
when i was contemplating the T-56 Fred at Dark horse found me correct pedals for my car
He may be able to locate the correct pedals fo yours too
