Check out the September '06 issue of Hot Rod magazine, page 33. This is the car and artwork that Dan Griffin (Torinobros), Mike McPhillips (McFord) and I saw at Steve Strope's shop, Pure Visions, in April of '05!! The by-line describes it as having started as a clean, stock '72. Stock, yes... clean, well... that's a relative term. I'm sure Stropes will work his usual magic and that it will be top-notch when done... but you wouldn't believe what Stropes said the owner paid for it... OR the parts car, for that matter!! Can't wait to see this one done. Kevin

That should be very interesting to see. It's about time this car got some attention.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Mike, as best as I'm able to recall, it was claimed the owner (not Steve Stropes)paid somewhere well north of $10K. Paid over $4K for the "parts" car, alone. A fairly sad hulk Ebay'd from the east coast. As I said, I'm sure it will all be top-notch when done. From humble beginnings often come great things. Here's the link to PureVision. Someone on another board e-mailed Strope to ask about the car, and the reply was that the website will be updated in the near future to showcase the build. http://www.purevisiondesign.com/ Kevin ------------------ Just an analog guy, stuck in a digital world!
